As well as metals, we can also plate on most plastics, ceramics & other surfaces. This process is quite complex and requires a conductive paint to be applied to make the item become conductive, the process then requires a copper plate, this allows the item to receive a bright shiny finish prior to a gold or silver top plate!
This process requires a little extra prep work compared to plating onto every day metals & will cost a little more than a metal item would for the same size.
Below is a small sample of plating onto non conductive items, in the picture you will see a chicken's egg & sea shell which are 24ct gold plated, also 2 champagne corks which have been silver plated. Please contact us today with you requirements.
